Ariadne's Thread is a classical-style grass labyrinth in the village of Tipton St John, set into the north-west corner of the playing field just south of the village beacon — a short, contemplative spur off the River Otter footpath.
It is a permanent feature with 24/7 free public access — a perfect place to relax, reflect and pause for a while before walking on toward the Golden Lion and the river bridge.
Looked after by the village and a small group of volunteers; donations toward upkeep are welcomed via the Facebook community group.

Finding it
From the Golden Lion, cross the river bridge and follow Coronation Way into the playing field; the labyrinth is in the far north-west corner, just south of the beacon.
